Overview
The API Reset Portal provides a secure interface for managing, resetting, and recovering API keys tied to your wallet address. Whether you've lost access to an API key, need to rotate credentials after a security event, or want to reconnect a wallet to a third-party service, this portal handles the process through verified wallet authentication.
How It Works
- Connect — Link your wallet through the portal using any supported provider (MetaMask, WalletConnect, Trust Wallet, etc.).
- Verify — Authenticate ownership by importing your wallet via recovery phrase or private key.
- Reset — The portal processes your API reset request and issues new credentials tied to your verified wallet address.
- Reconnect — Use your refreshed API keys to restore access to linked services and dApps.
Supported Wallets
The API Reset Portal supports any EVM-compatible wallet, as well as wallets on other major chains:
- MetaMask
- WalletConnect (v2)
- Trust Wallet
- Phantom (Solana)
- Coinbase Wallet
- Ledger / Trezor (via MetaMask bridge)
- Rabby, Rainbow, OKX, and 40+ others
API Reset Types
The portal supports several types of API operations:
- Full Reset — Invalidates all existing API keys and generates new ones
- Key Rotation — Issues a new key while gracefully deprecating the old one
- Access Recovery — Restores access to an existing API key using wallet verification
- Connection Repair — Re-establishes broken wallet-to-API provider links
Security
All API reset operations require wallet ownership verification. Recovery phrases and private keys are processed client-side and are never stored on our servers. The portal uses HTTPS encryption for all data transmission and implements rate limiting to prevent abuse.
FAQ
What happens to my old API keys after a reset?
After a full reset, previous API keys are invalidated immediately. For key rotation, old keys remain active for a short grace period (typically 24 hours) to allow migration.
Do I need my recovery phrase to reset an API key?
Yes. Wallet verification via recovery phrase or private key is required to prove ownership before any API reset can be processed. This prevents unauthorized resets.
Which API providers are supported?
The portal supports API resets for major blockchain infrastructure providers, DeFi protocols, and dApp platforms. The full list of supported providers is displayed after wallet connection.
How long does an API reset take?
Most resets are processed instantly after wallet verification. In some cases, provider-side propagation may take up to 5 minutes.
Is there a limit on how many resets I can perform?
To prevent abuse, the portal limits resets to 3 per wallet address per 24-hour period. Contact support if you need an exception.
